On August 22nd, Tunisian tennis sensation and Lotto athlete Ons Jabeur was interviewed by Good Day New York—a popular morning show airing on Fox 5. This interview comes ahead of her participation in the world-renowned 2022 US Open tournament.

In the interview, Jabeur starts by talking about her love of New York City, stating that she came a week early to enjoy all that New York has to offer before her commitment to the US Open. She also talks a bit about her influence on the next generation of Tunisian, North African, and Arabic players, where she says she hopes to see a rise in tennis talent in her region. Few tennis players have been honored by their country quite like Ons!

She then talks about playing doubles with American tennis legend Serena Williams and the possibility of playing against her in the US Open.
