Danny Cortes sits in his studio wearing a red cap and a custom grey, black, and red Lotto jersey featuring the Brooklyn Bridge on the front as he introduces himself, saying, "What's up? This is your boy Danny Cortes. I'm an artist who specializes in making miniatures, dioramas, also set design." As he speaks, the camera zooms in on his detailed work, showing him carefully using a fine-tip paintbrush under a magnifying lamp to add precise weathering and paint details onto miniature urban models at his desk. "Got the Brooklyn Bridge... I love New York City so much, but Brooklyn is where I was born and raised," he continues. The shot cuts to the back of his custom jersey, which reads "CORTES 12," before showing him working on a tiny mailbox model and a "Cortes GROCERY" storefront complete with miniature New York Lottery posters taped to the bodega window. "First time I saw Lotto growing up was my uncles wearing it. I was rocking a Lotto tracksuit. The attention that I was getting from people was amazing," he recalls while pointing proudly to his shirt. The video cuts to detailed close-ups of a miniature dumpster covered in realistic graffiti, followed by a street scene displaying a weathered storefront menu. Danny explains, "In the 80s, Saturday morning cartoons, it'd be a building with a fire escape, a sewer cap with smoke coming out of it. And I was always attracted to that." The camera focuses on him adjusting a miniature street pole with a functioning "Don't Walk" hand signal as he candidly reflects on his personal growth, stating, "Going through a tough time in my life, every time I worked on a piece, I just felt good about myself." The scene transitions past a framed New York Times article on his wall that profiles his miniature artwork, before returning to Danny smiling warmly in his studio, which is filled with paint bottles, model parts, and tools. He concludes, "Now I can say, uh, traveled the world through art, doing collaboration shirts with an awesome brand, Lotto. Art saved my life," right before the screen fades out to display the white Lotto logo.
