This past week saw many inspiring wins and tremendous showings from some phenomenal Lotto athletes.
We’ve also got some exciting news for you if you’re a tennis fan concerning Lotto at the upcoming 2022 Vienna Open!
Lotto Sport at the 2022 Vienna Open!
We’re excited to announce that Lotto Sport Italia will be the Official Supplier of the 48th edition of the Vienna Open, sponsored by Erste Bank!
The Vienna Open is a men's tennis tournament in the ATP Tour 500 category and has been held annually since 1974. It takes place on the indoor hard courts of the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Currently, the tournament sports the name “Erste Bank Open” in honor of its sponsor.
The main competition of the Erste Bank Open 2022 starts on Monday, October 24, but the qualifiers will take place as early as Saturday, October 22.
The final day of the singles and doubles will be Sunday, October 30, with an awards ceremony.

Anna Blinkova with Her First Win!
What a wonderful week for Anna Blinkova!
Starting from the qualifications, Anna won her first WTA tournament: the 250 WTA Transylvania Open by Verdino in Romania. She won the final by beating Jasmine Paolini in three sets: 6-2, 3-6, and 6-2.
Great Showing For Rakhimova and Sizikova
Kamilla Rakhimova and her partner Yana Sizikova won second place at the 250 WTA Transylvania Open Tournament by Verdina in Romania. They had a tremendous run, finally being bested by Kirsten Flipkens and Laura Siegemund with sets of 6-3 and 7-5.
Saito with a Huge Win
Lotto athlete Sara Saito showed her competitive fire while winning the Osaka Mayor’s Cup. With this result, the 16-year-old player will enter the top 10 in the U18 World Ranking.
Way to go, Sara!
Krajicek and Dodig Reach the Finals
Austin Krajicek and Ivan Dodig made it all the way to the finals of the 250 ATP Tournament in France. They took home silver, having lost to the French team of Nicola Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin with sets of 7-6 and 6-3.
Gilles Arnaud Bailly in the Spotlight
Good luck to Lotto athlete Gilles Arnaud Bailly, a US Open finalist, as he plays his first main draw in the ATP 250 Tournament in Belgium.

More Semifinal Action on the Courts
American Alafia Ayeni reached the semifinals at the ATP Challenger in Fairfield, USA. He lost to Gabriel Diallo with sets of 3-6 and 1-6.
Lotto Athletes at It Again!
Rachele Baldi (wearing Solista 110 Gravity) was named MVP of the Pomigliano-Fiorentina match.
The Lotto athlete was instrumental in her team's victory, with 4 great saves and a penalty kick saved. No goalkeeper in Serie A has more clean sheets than her this season.
